Giri — Founder & Lead Tutor

Giri is the founder of the tutoring service and brings nearly seven years of teaching experience supporting students across a wide range of ages and abilities. He studied Mathematics and Statistics at the London School of Economics and Political Science, where he developed a strong analytical foundation and a passion for helping students build confidence in problem-solving.

Giri teaches Mathematics from KS2 through to A-Level, guiding students through key transitions such as SATs preparation, GCSE exams, and advanced sixth-form study. In addition, he provides Science tuition up to GCSE level, helping students understand difficult concepts through clear explanations and structured exam practice.

His teaching style focuses on:

• building strong fundamentals,

• improving exam technique,

• developing independent learning skills,

• and boosting student confidence alongside academic performance.

Many of Giri’s students have significantly improved both their grades and their attitude toward maths and science through his structured and encouraging approach.

Erika — Mathematics & 11+ Specialist

Erika studied Mathematics at the University of Southampton, where she strengthened her problem-solving abilities and developed a keen interest in mathematical education.

She specialises in 11+ entrance exam preparation, supporting students aiming for grammar schools and selective independent schools. Erika works closely with younger learners to build strong foundations in:

• mathematical reasoning,

• verbal and non-verbal reasoning,

• exam confidence,

• and time management skills.

Her sessions combine structured learning with engaging practice, ensuring students not only prepare for exams but also develop long-term academic confidence. Erika is particularly experienced at helping students who may feel anxious about entrance exams by breaking challenging topics into clear, manageable steps.

Chloe — GCSE Science Tutor

Chloe completed her degree in Biological Sciences at King's College London, gaining extensive scientific knowledge alongside practical laboratory and research experience.

She focuses primarily on GCSE Science tuition, covering Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. Chloe helps students:

• understand scientific concepts rather than memorise them,

• improve structured exam answers,

• strengthen scientific reasoning,

• and prepare effectively for GCSE assessments.

Her approachable and supportive teaching style makes science accessible for students of all abilities, particularly those who may struggle with confidence or exam technique.
