In our group sessions, we teach several students at the same time, typically between 4 and 6. This setup encourages collaboration and peer learning, allowing students to help each other and discuss problems together. It’s a great way to build teamwork and communication skills. While the pace of the lesson is slightly more generalized to suit the group, we still ensure that every student receives individual attention. These sessions are often more affordable and are ideal for students who are comfortable learning alongside others and thrive in interactive, engaging environments.
One-to-one lessons are highly personalized. The entire session is tailored specifically to each student’s learning needs. We focus on particular areas where they may need extra support or explore topics they’re especially interested in. The pace is completely set by the student, allowing us to slow down or move ahead as needed. This approach provides a more intensive and targeted form of tutoring, ideal for students who benefit from focused attention or wish to progress rapidly.
In our online lessons, we teach students remotely using video conferencing tools. We share our screen to go through materials, use virtual whiteboards for explanations, and provide resources that students can access during and after the session. Online lessons are highly flexible—students can learn from the comfort of their own homes, and we can schedule sessions around their availability. This option is ideal for students who are tech-savvy or have busy schedules, and it removes the need for travel time. We ensure that our online lessons are just as interactive and engaging as in-person sessions.
In-person lessons take place either at our location or at your home, depending on what works best for you. The benefit of face-to-face learning is that it’s often more personal and comes with fewer distractions. Our tutors can observe body language and other cues more easily, allowing us to adjust our teaching style in real time. In-person sessions also allow for hands-on activities, such as writing directly on paper or using physical learning tools. This option is ideal for students who prefer a traditional learning environment or find it easier to focus in a physical setting.
It depends on your child’s learning style and goals. If they thrive in a social setting and like discussing topics with peers, group sessions could be a great fit. If they need more tailored guidance or have specific challenges in a subject, one-to-one lessons may be more effective. We can always start with one and see how they feel about it.
